Electronic thermometer

Battery operated portable unit with four control knobs and a reader dial with a needle and three sets of markings in degrees fahrenheit on the front. One black plastic probe attachment plugs into a socket at the bottom of the unit. The unit appears to have two names, 'Elecktron Thermometer, type 4410' and 'Thermophil', both inscribed on the front. A set of instructions is stuck on the back. The unit was probably used to measure the temperature of items being probed, and is held in a brown synthetic carrying case with a detachable strap.
