Portable grey and black unit with a control knob and socket on the side and a reader dial with a needle and markings in degrees celsius from -30 to 20 on the front. The unit is used to measure the temperature of items being probed. The thermometer is held in a black synthetic carrying case. Brief instructions and the name of the device, 'EDALE THERMISTOR THERMOMETER MODEL' are inscribed on a sticker inside the case.
